
Maral is the Director of the Franchise Regulatory Practice and an attorney with Mullin Law, PC, focusing her practice in the areas of franchise law, corporate law, trademark and copyright law, advertising law, and sweepstakes and promotion law.
Maral provides both initial and ongoing counsel and legal support to franchisors in the structuring and operation of domestic franchise programs and international expansion, including in the drafting of franchise related agreements, franchise compliance issues, franchise and business opportunity registrations and exemptions, non-traditional franchise venues, alternative distribution channels, managing franchisee relationships, operations manuals, marketing materials, gift card programs, and nation-wide sweepstakes and contests.
Maral also counsels clients on corporate sales and acquisitions, including asset and stock sales, as well as corporate formation and structuring. Her intellectual property practices focuses on federal and state trademark filings as well as dispute resolution and licensing issues.
Maral represents companies in various industries, including the restaurant, retail, convenience store, and beauty, health, and fitness industries.
Maral is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston Bauer School of Business. She completed her undergraduate degree in political science and art history at Texas Tech University, having completed two years of study at the University of Toronto where she studied architecture.
Maral is fully trilingual in English, French, and Armenian.
