Maral is the director of franchise regulatory practice and an attorney with Mullin Law, PC, focusing her practice in the areas of franchise regulatory compliance, corporate law, trademark and copyright protection and commercial litigation.

Maral has worked as a legal French translator for the University of Houston Immigration Clinic, where she leveraged her fluent language skills in French and English. In addition, Maral speaks fluent Armenian.

Maral currently is a member of the ABA Forum on Franchising and has spoken on "Cross Border Franchising" for Best Practices in Franchising Breakfast and Roundtable Series in Toronto in September 2008. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Dallas Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.

She is licensed to practice in Texas and received her juris doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Maral also holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston Bauer School of Business.

Maral received her bachelor's degrees in political science and art history at Texas Tech University, having completed two years of study at the University of Toronto where she studied architecture.
